The unit powers up and runs, but does not heat. It's was only 6 months old, no receipt, I've checked every component recommend with a multimeter except the triac, don't know if it has one. I'm getting 120 volts to the primary side of the transformer, but the capacitor doesn't charge. I tried another capacitor and diode still nothing. I accidently switch the wires on the capacitor and it trip the circuit breaker so its not an open circuit. What's next?

Shaun,

Sounds like the problem is a bad magnetron.

This model is so new - there are no diagrams and/or parts lists published yet. You have to call GE and request the warranty service even if you do not have prove of purchase. They should go by the serial number (manufacturing date). Do not tell them that you tried to fix it yourself.

Gene.
