My broiler ignites just fine but no glow, (and no gas odor) when trying to turn on the oven on this GE Spectra XL44. Any ideas?

Im having the same problem was searching here for a fix .... did you fix problem ? was it the ignitor ?

The oven and broiler use two of the same part as igniters. Once I saw the I wasn't going to mess anything up too badly, it was not too tough to swap the parts, see that the problem followed the one igniter, and order that part. And when it arrived (just a few days) since I was so cool with swapping them, replacement was cake. I am sure it wil be for you, too.
