The left half of my dishwasher touch pad has stopped working! I moved the dishwasher from my foreclosed home to my new rental, and when we installed it last night, everything seems to work except the left side where you pick the wash cycle to start. The right side buttons all seem to work fine for choosing drying options, and it runs the 2 min drain/cancel fine, but I can't start a load because of the cycle choice buttons. I noticed one loose wire disconnected underneath that jostled loose during moving, and I reconnected it to it's presumed terminal already before install. Could there be another I am not seeing? Any ideas? I have 6 kids, and I just moved 2 days ago, so I am dead on broke and can't replace my $700 dishwasher!

Is it directly wired up, or is it plugged into an outlet?

Find the breaker and turn it off. Go into the small metal box (silver in color) under the dishwasher, and make sure all the wires are securely connected (Black to black; White to white; and Green[ground] to bare. Use fresh wire nuts (the plastic caps) if you can, and then tape them with electrical tape, making sure the wire pairs are taped together, as well as to the caps). This will prevent any of the wires from coming apart.
