when my washer is spinning it is vibrating badly. I was told it could be a baring or I may have to replace the tub and all?

Noises and vibrations are the hardest symptoms for us to diagnose from afar because they require visual inspection and listening to the type of noise and where it comes from.

Try operating the machine with the back cover off to listen to it and to see if you can locate the source of the problem. The support rods and springs are the most likely culprit.

Here is a service manual that may help you with the repair.
