k i am not happy with kitchenaid.. thought this was a good brand..a year ago we replaced the control panel and now it is acting strange again.

Problem: the off button does not work. found out last weekend while baking that we could not shut the oven. This is dangerous!!

Model: KGRA806PSS00

can someone please enlighten me as to what could be the problem. Do we have to replace the control panel? I have no idea where to look and how.

Did you ever find a solution to this? We have the exact same problem on the same model. I've found that you can set an end time for a minute later than the current time and it'll turn off...but I'm sure you figured that out or got it fixed by now.
