Dryer runs but no heat. Took off the vent pipe and air blows but it's not hot. Think I need to check the thermal fuse. Anybody have step by steps on how to access it on this model dryer? THANKS!

This is an electric dryer and if the thermal fuse is bad then the dryer would not do anything.

According to the Wring diagram, there are a few parts which have to be checked first for continuity.

They are: the heating element (#17 on the diagram), the high limit thermostat (#15), the thermal cut-off (#9) and the operating thermostat (#8).

- The heating element Part number: AP3094254
Part number: AP3094254

- The high limit thermostat Part number: AP3131941
Part number: AP3131941

- The thermal cut-off kit Part number: AP3094244
Part number: AP3094244

- The operating thermostat Part number: AP3045874
