My GE Space Maker microwave oven recently started to turn off after aprox 2 seconds of operation and flashes that clock needs reset. After resetting it will continue to fail with same results. I have found that if control panel is tilted forward the unit will run and operate as normal with no failure. As soon as the panel is reinstalled in the normal position the failure returns. I have tried to move wiring and checked connections with no luck. I can't see how leaning the control panel forward aprox half an inch would make any differance but it does. Any Ideas?

The problem is your magnetron tube is leaking RF. The mag tube comes on 2 seconds after you hit start, and the RF interfears with the board and shuts it down. That is why dropping the front down makes a differance. Get a new mag tube put in and you'll be good to go.
