My My ice dispenser is not working. The water dispenser works just fine. This started when I opened the freezer and saw ice cream melting and the freezer and refrigerator both were obviously not cooling properly. I tried to change the settings buttons to make the freezer and frig colder however I couldn't change the setting. I finally unplugged the refrig.freezer, plugged it back in , and reset the settings making the freezer and refig. colder. After unplugging the fridge everything works fine except the motor on the ice dispenser. The auger will not turn, nothing happens. Any ideas?

If you were defrosting in the freezer your auger motor may just be frozen. Try running a hair dryer on it for a while. If that doesn't fix you post back.

Ok, the next step is to determine whether 120vac is present at the motor. To do so you need to tape down the freezer door switch, hook up your leads to the motor, then call for ice.
120vac yes? Replace auger
120vac no? Check ice dispencer switch for continuity (normally open)
