Hi,

oops i put 88 instead of BB...Sorry

My fridge is a year or two old (Samsung RS2530BBP) and has been making an awful noise many times throughout the day and the night.

I have recorded the noise and put it online...

Is this a compressor issue? What should i try to check first? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I have the same model and the same problem. I replaced the start relay and the big capacitor but still any time the compressor want to start, I have that noise. I haven't connected any water line to the refrigerator and I was thinking maybe the noise come from the water pump motors since they energize to connect the water but I didn't have this problem before a power outage in our area. please let me know too if you found the solution to this problem.
