I'm trying to remove the top of the dryer so I can get at the support roller. I'm hoping this will resolve my squeeky noise.

Hi BoyBlue

Using a putty knife push in two clips on each side on top of the front panel and lift up the top panel.

The order, location and part numbers for all parts you can find on the break down diagrams for the Frigidaire dryer Model FDE216RES0

Good luck.
Gene.
