Started out with refridgerator warm and freezer OK. YES the coils in the freezer were a block of ice. If I defrost them the all is well for about a month. I checked the defrost coil it reads 16 ohms. I checked the defrost thermostat and it is closed all of the time. Warm or cold. I assume the defrost thermostat is bad but it does not explain the issue. This model does not have a defrost timer, it has a PCB electronic controller. I assume my PCB control module is also bad. Am I missing anything? I want to cover all my bases before I buy the parts.
Thanks for your reply(s)

OK I have read all of the post in "Fridge warm freezer OK" STICKY. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!! I noticed for the GE models with this problem, it is always advised to replace the defrost thermostat and the main board wich I am planning on doing anyways. However it is usually advised to replace both thermisters? I only see 1? How many thermisters are there on my model? When I order parts I want to get all the parts I might need. I hope not to defrost with a hair dryer again. Thanks for all of the post past and future. I think you guys are providing a great service for the do it your selfer like me. Jeff r
