We have a Whirlpool double oven, model number GBD307PDT7. We have been getting an error code of E6, F2. We have replaced the control panel, part number 8300442. The oven worked well for one week. Today the display went completely blank. We shut off the breaker. After turning on the breaker, it remained blank and then beeped with the E6, F2 error again. Could it be that we received a faulty part or could it be another part such as the control board?

It could be a bad panel but I would lean more towards a bad control board.
Unfortunately they do not give the pin-outs of the control panel so it cannot really be checked.
I would try the following before ordering anything.
Connector Cleaning / Checking
Unplug the unit
Open it up
Remove the ribbon cable from the keypad to the control board at the control board.
Clean the edge connector.
If it is the type where there is not a connector just the insulation is removed, it can be cleaned with a pencil eraser. Do not use an ink eraser as it is too abrasive.
Check the tracks in the ribbon cable for hairline cracks. A magnifying glass helps here.
Clean the connector on the board. Use electronics contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush. Be gentle and do not reconnect till all the solvent evaporates.
Reconnect everything and give it a try.

We read in another entry that we should disconnect the ribbon and wait two days to see what happens. It said that if we monitor and the error does not come back, then replace the control panel. If the error comes back, then replace the control board. We disconnected the ribbon and we immediately received a F2, E1 error code which means the keypad cable is unplugged. So does that mean we now need to replace the control board?

This type of problem is always a bit of a crap shoot as there is no way to actually check the keypad (control panel) with a meter.

As long as you are sure that you properly installed the keypad ribbon cable then it is probably a bad control board.
