Hello,

I have a series 70 top loading washer that is making a loud screaching sound continuous similar to a siren sound. The sound at this point does not effect the operation of the unit too date.

Any ideas?

Hi David,

The first thing I would check is the motor coupling.

You can find the complete instructions in this manual.

- The part number for the coupling is AP3963893
