When we try to use our micro if we select the popcorn button and start...it will try to start running but the word popcorn flashes in and out and then we get an F5 error. If you just try to run the micro and say press 120 and cook it will start to run and then the numbers start blinking and flashing in and out and then the whole panel where the time is looks like it fills up with lots of japanese symbols and numbers and then if you clear it, it tells you to reset the clock and so on. So we have been unable to use our micro. Can you please help me with this and answer me at my email at: naturallyblessed@att.netThank you so kindly, Debra Petzke

Debra, The "F5" error code means a faulty gas sensor (#62 on the diagram). Quote:...press 120 and cook it will start to run and then the numbers start blinking and flashing in and out... How long it takes after you pushed Cook? Gene.

It takes about 15-30 seconds.

I would replace the gas sensor first and see how it would work. There is a 50/50 chance it will solve the problem or the control board can be bad as well.
Gene.
