I was using my oven yesterday to bake some sweet potatoes. When they were finished I turned my oven off. To fnd out a little bit later that it will not shut off. The light for the oven is off and I've hit the clear off button a million times but it will still not shut off. I had to unplug it. Anyone know how to fix this?

Could be a couple things.

If the element is on at full temperature then probably the relay contacts on the control board for that element are welded together. A new board will be needed to repair this.

If it is on but at lower than max could be the element is shorting to the frame.oven and it is getting 120 volts all the time. Possible short locations are where is mounts to the back wall or at the feet it it has them.
