Hello,
This is a new microwave (3 days old) with lack of airflow through lower vents. Steam is raising from the stove but is not flowing into lower vents although the fan is working and pushing air out from above outlet. Lack of airflow below is causing steam to accumulate all over the front of microwave. Any ideas?

These over the range microwaves can be top-vented, rear vented or non vented. I am not sure which of these it comes but you have to make sure it is set up for what you got. If your vent goes through your roof the microwave has got to be set up for top vent. If your vent goes through the back wall the microwave has got to be set for back vent. If you don’t have a vent it has got to be set for non-vent. Typically you have to rotate the vent fan to change it from one setting to another but you will have to refer to the installation instructions provided with the microwave. Hope this helps!
