I have a front loading washer and just had it repaired by two seperate service tech for a bad pump,(sock was stuck in pump) it worked three times and took 2 months to fix and now the door lock turns off before any cycle starts. i do not get any error code what could be the problem??? Please help:eek:

Disconnect the washer from the electrical supply.
Remove the two screws from the rear of the top, slide the top back and lift it off.
Remove the two screws,one on each end,holding the console to the top of the side panels.
Remove the three screws behind the detergent drawer panel.
Lift the three tabs to release the top of console from the mounting plate.
Roll the console forward, while lifting up to release the bottom tabs from the front panel.
Make sure the door is closed.
Disconnect the plug from J2 on the control board and check for continuity between the pins in the plug. If it's closed - replace the control board. If it's open - check the door strike and if there is nothing wrong then replace the door switch assembly. - The part number for the door strike is AP3886893 - The part number for the door lock/switch assembly is AP3886713 - The part number for the control board is AP3900211 Gene.
