What does the slider labeled "cold" on one side, and "coldest" on the other side, over the meat drawer (the lowest fridge drawer) on a GE GNE25j refrigerator do?
And how would I want to use it?

Thanks in advance....

Thank you for your question. The slider control allows the temperature in the pan to retain more cold air or the same as the rest of the refrigerator depending on where the slider is set. With the refrigerator set to 37°F, the slider being set to coldest can allow the pan to keep an average temperature of about 34°F. This would be moved based on the preference of the individual with how cold the deli meats want to be kept.
