Our samsung needs a new freezer evap fan (part number : DA97-08061A )

My question is instead of buying that part ,to the tune of nearly $400, can you just replace the fan & motor assembly ,is there a compatible replacement out there?

Jben04,

Instead of replacing the complete assembly, you can just replace the evaporator fan motor. Here is a link to the part. https://www.appliancepar...31-00146e-ap4136569.html
