Measuring about 1008 Ohms (1.008 K Ohms) on suspected bad part. What should value be on a good part?

Cprodave, the most accurate test would be testing it for incoming voltage when a cycle is started. If proper voltage is present and the water supply is on with no kinked hoses, the valve would be the cause of failure.
