dishwasher several years old
dripping from the float arm that goes down into the switch on the bottom left.
tried to download a pic but couldn't get to work.
how does the float come apart?

Hager12, if the model number of your appliance could be provided, it may allow the most accurate information to be presented. Generally speaking, the bottom of the float can be found behind the kickplate going into a switch housing. The housing usually has a bracket that can be opened to be able to move the float arm out, allowing it to be lifted up out of the tub.
