I ordered a C burner base assembly WB28X10056, however I ran into a snag removing the old one.

This Monogram model uses a center "bolt/tube" that the top retaining nut screws onto. I removed the top retaining nut but could not remove the center bolt/tube. (This model does not use screws or other means to hold the assembly on like the help videos show.)

The center bolt/tube simply spins with my ratchet. I suspect there is another nut underneath the stove that holds it on that is turning along with the bolt/tube. I lifted the stove up, but it looks like it's a sealed unit underneath.

Any suggestions?

(The original problem is the ceramic lighter insulator on the assembly is cracked and it won't light consistantly.)
