I'm new to working on fridges, but have reviewed the manual, online instructions, and videos, and feel pretty comfortable with installing an ice maker in my LG top freezer. However, although I can see where the holes are for the side mounting screws, they are covered by the inner wall, but visible as depressions. I just want to make sure it's safe to drill those open for the mounting screws.
