This washer was turned over to me as a possible salvage job since it would not fill with water or operate properly. When the timer knob was turned to activate a typical cycle it would immediately go into the spin portion of the cycle but no water would flow into the tub. Any alternate cycle did the same thing. The tub would rotate properly. Checking for damage or burned wires but none were found either at the top control area or at the motor. The timer motor was running OK. The three terminal pressure switch in the console area which is activated by an air hose connected to the lower part of the wash tub was checked for clogging thru the hose but none was detected when I blew thru the hose. A definite click was heard at the large round diafram portion of this switch when I used a small hose to activate the switch Although it would not allow water to flow. I changed out the pressure switch using a Maytag type and the unit worked to allow water flow and run a cycle. In checking for price and availability for this switch I found that they are very expensive but necessary
