Hi All,

Have been troubleshooting a water leak on an inherited Whirlpool Gold side by side from around 2012 or so ... have another thread on the board (it is the power relay so am replacing that with another relay). This thread is on the inlet valve leak where the plastic tip on the tubing is supposed to seal to the single "John Guest" type female fitting.

Have been troubleshooting to make sure it is a bad o ring - have confirmed by cutting off 3/16" of the tip (diameter 0.3100") of the plastic tubing (diameter 0.3115"). Not much online about this.

Disassembled the collet and oring device (part of the valve) - found o ring a bit deteriorated so cleaned it with alcohol and silicon spray, flipped it over inside the valve, but still leaked. So, then cut off 3/16" of the tip of the plastic end. Completely sealed without leaks - so far.

So, solution is to replace the incredibly inexpensive o ring ... anyone done this? Does APP have a source?

Thanks!
