I just bought the above model washer at a scrap price since it needs repair. The s/n is 0112012332. The unit was been taken out of service at a self serve laundromat due to water leakage. It has a significant water leak at the center shaft area. In spite of the leak it does operate properly . The control was originally set up for a total of $1.50 using quarters. I took the coin box out and put in a tray to catch the quarters so they can be used over and over and that seems to work OK. I did find a small extension spring lying in the bottom of the control compartment. It is about .25" in diameter and about 2.25" long and one attachment coil for an end hook was broken off. By the size of the water leak it appears the main shaft seal and bearings will need to be replaced probably using a kit 766P3A. I am looking for a repair manual for this machine and also info for the spring location in the control section. Can anyone point me in the right direction to source this info ?
