Morning

so my GF's Asco T754C was tripping the breaker behind the rear panel at the back.
All filters look clean, drum spins OK
I reset once and ran it, seemed OK, lugged it back on top of the WM and it tripped again.

had another look yesterday, reset it again, blew some fluff out of the heating coil, coils all look intact. Tested it for continuity and it looks OK

one thing that surprised me, when I plugged the machine in the heating coil glowed red hot...I hadn't even turned the machine on from the front on/off button, is this normal?
It glowed for a minute or so then turned off.
I turned the machine on and ran it, heating coil heated for a few minutes then clicked off, repeated this for the duration of my test, at no stage did it glow like the initial time I plugged it in though.

so it seemed to run ok, not tripped yet
just checking whether this is normal, like a preheat perhaps?
