I have never heard of this complaint before and I have worked on many units in the last 15 years . The problem may be lack of dampening if the wash basket and tub are not in decent condition . Does the balance ring on top of the tub show any sign of leaking fluid or other problems relating to its attachment to the top end of the tub . If the tub has the four springs at the corners are these in decent condition ? Hope this is of some help .
