Hi,
I am at a rental with a Samsung Front Loading Washer. I don’t have the exact model number but looks mid-range and 5 years old.
The washer has started to develop a lot of noise when going through the Spin Cycle. It sounds like subtle metal contact and the tub also seems to wobble more than normal.
These symptoms exhibit even when I run the washer empty.
When I open up the door and manually spin the tub clockwise it spins smooth but I hear what seems like screws/parts eventually rolling around and settling in the 7’o clock region.
When I spin in counter-clockwise I hear metal scraping.
BTW I cleaned out the filter below and caught a long screw. Maybe there is more caught in the system?
Any thoughts?
