Hello Forum, I have a question and it may sound a little weird, but I am curios if it's me or has anyone else experienced what I am going to explain. I have had a separate fridge and a freezer in my garage for the last 17 years and about 3 years ago for some reason the bottled water I would leave in the fridge developed a funny taste almost as it was spoiled, or freezer burned after some time but it isn't in the freezer. The freezer portion freezes but it seems the food would also develop a freezer burn taste on it as well. So, I bought a new fridge and also bought separate freezer unit. Now over the last two years of having two new seperate units it seems that either the garage it to hot or the freezers are freezing fast enough because food in the freezer seem to develop a freezer burn taste on certain things to fast. This has been frustrating to figure out I have now started trying to vacuum seal almost everything but some store-bought items fries, bread etc. seem to still develop that taste to fast in my opinion, is the frost on these items while freezing causing this. Today I have now changed out the fridge with a newly delivered garage ready fridge from best Buy thinking what I have bought isn't rated for the garage trying to resolve the issue. I am just curious if anyone has ever experienced anything like this before. I am thinking it a garage thing because the fridge/freezer in the house has never had this problem.
