Had an issue where the dryer vent was clogged causing the dryer to not operate correctly. I cleaned the dryer vent line and replaced the thermister (problem was not fixed). I then bought a new heating element that came with a high limit fuse and heater fuse (attached to heating unit). After replacing I conducted a vent blockage test of the unit (feature of the dryer) with the vent line unattached, I had heat again and the test was successful. After reattaching the dryer vent line I did the vent blockage test two times. The first time it passed (indicating no blockage) and the second one failed (due to lack of heat again). I've also tested the 240v infeed power (240 between both hot and 120v to neutral). Im not sure what to meter or check at this point as the fuses in the dryer have not blown and the thermister indicates normal resistance for room temp.
