My GE washer will not agitate during the wash cycle. It fills up normally and you can hear it running but when the lid is lifted the agitator base and top part of the agitator are not moving. It drains and spins as normal but just will not agitate during the wash cycle.
I replaced the drive belt last year and have checked that and it is working perfectly. I replaced the bottom base of the agitator thinking it was stripped and even with the new one it is still not agitating.
