Three year old Frigidaire Elite 3 door refrigerator will only drop the temp in the freezer to 50 degrees from 74 degrees. All fans run inside and outside. Compressor kicks on smoothly, no clicking, no banging, and temp is warm not hot. Inside freezer back panel is same temp as freezer. Does not run hot or cold to the touch. Let it set unplugged for couple days with doors open. Plugged in and pushed reset button on main board closed doors and same 50 degrees. Temp is set to 0 degrees and refrig to 34 degrees.

This unit has for self diagnostic a port you hold your phone to after calling a service number and this port, by code, will tell service the problem. So I dial the number and a man tells me that they no longer support this service. Remember, the unit is 3 years old. So i said send a tech out(I am in South Dakota)and his reply was we don't have anybody in that area. So what am I to do? He replies, I don't know, we have new refrigerators for sale? I hung up.

Anybody have any ideas, some test to perform, should I stick more money into it or is it a boat anchor. A local tech over the phone said it sounded like the compressor was his guess. I have ordered a new refrigerator and I can assure you not a Frigidaire. I doubt I will ever purchase anything made by Frigidaire again! I would like to fix this one, sell it and get some money to put towards the new unit. If anybody can help me, I would certainly appreciate it and Thank you in advance
