Hi. Grateful for any advice you can provide.

25-year-old Wolf AS30KL-1 gas oven. Always worked perfectly. Yesterday the oven stopped lighting.

The electric element that I think lights the gas heats up. But no gas. No smell of gas. The switch that senses when the door’s open seems to be functioning.

There’s a small box (the igniter?) that has wires connected and gas piped through it. I assume it opens a valve when a sensor detects that the electric element is hot enough. Am guessing that may need replacing (which I appreciate I shouldn’t do myself, but I’d like to order the part to speed things up).

Any advice appreciated, including how to narrow down where the fault really is.

Many thanks!
