I have a KitchenAid Oven which has been heating to below the set point for quite a while (years) as measured by several thermometers including a NIST certified thermal probe. It runs 15-25F low across the full heating range (bigger disparity as the temperature increases). It also has been shutting down with error code FE61 (Over Temp Cook) when set to a temperature of ~475F or higher. I have already replaced the temperature sensor and confirmed that the replacement has the correct resistance, but the problems persist. Is it likely that the problem is in the control board? Is there some other possible cause for these symptoms?
Thanks, -phil
