We have an LG Refrigerator LFX21960ST.
The water dispenser in the door is working, but the ice maker is not.
I can turn on the ice maker and cycle between the sizes of the cubes, but no water flows into it.
do I need to replace the water flow valve, even though the door dispenser is working?
Or do I need to replace the ice maker?
I bought a new valve that has the flow meter attached, but The one in there now does not have the flow meter and there is no plug for it. Right now there is a fan using the power that the flow meter would use.
I would love to have ice again.
Also, is it possible to purchase the little plastic cover that covers where the water comes out of the tube into the ice maker to keep water from splashing inside the door?
thank you
