Hello,

I have a maytag Mvwx655dw. Washer is about 4 years old.

It leaks a little water + oil during spinning.

No noise or anything out of the ordinary (like bearing/gear noise).

I can see the dirty water on the motor pulley underneath.

If it was just the oil, then I assume it would have all leaked out by now from the transmission.

But there is water oil mixture.

So my noob guess is a seal is letting through the water which then gets to the transmission gears and spills out with it.

The tub seal is the only thing I could really find as a replacement part to buy.

Could that be causing this problem or does this require a whole new transmission?

Thank you for the help
