Our Speed Queen Dryer Stops Running after about 10 minutes, then after it cools it will let you restart it. This has been going on for about a week. So Yesterday my wife tells me that now it wont heat.

So I replaced the Cycling Thermo Stat (Green) and the High Temp Thermostat (Red) and in the process I noticed that one of the wires going to the heating element melted off. I put a new connector on the wire and put everything together and today we still have the problem of the dryer shutting down after 10 minutes of running. (I also cleaned the dryer vent and the ductwork inside the dryer)

What else could it be and is it even worth fixing at this point?

Thanks

George
