Hello, My oven's bake element recently died and my apartment maintenance replaced it. However, it was replaced with a model different from the original and the backing plate and screws didn't fit so it was left unsecured to the back. The element is plugged in and pushed back into place for the most part, but the insulation is exposed around the hole that the back plate would normally cover. My complex is telling me this is safe to use, but I'm concerned and was hoping to get the opinions of anyone who has seen this. Would anyone here use an oven with the insulation exposed?
