Hey everyone,
I had a used LG Washer that was extremely loud during its drain cycle. It was moderately loud during the first phase but once water got lower, it became obnoxiously loud, and would drone on pretty bad. I ordered a replacement pump just incase and decided to replace it anyway.

Turns out the Drain Pump was bad. The shaft on the motor was very worn out and had a ton of slop in it which is (I think) where the noise was coming from.

I slapped on a new Drain Pump (slightly different, but works) and its back to normal! Noise levels are back to normal, drain pump works properly, and washer is back in action.

Side note: the drain line for the pump filter housing was completely clogged so I had to fix that too.

Best of luck, and have fun!
