My Roper washing machine model RTW4000SW0 sometimes, not always, overfills...mainly on the rinse cycle. I looked on Youtube and checked the clear hose going from the bottom of the tub to the pressure switch. It was not blocked but I cut off an inch or two. Blowing into the hose I hear the switch clicking. The clear hose looked in good shape. I have a question regarding the inlet valve. According to a YouTuber, if you unplug the washer during the initial fill cycle when you first turn it on...the water should stop filling. Is this correct? Because mine does not stop.
This particular Roper washer only has one inlet on the valve, not two like most. It is a bare bones model but works well for me(normally). I don't think this should matter tho. Should it stop filling when its unplugged? Thanks in advance, Jim
