Maytag Dishwasher stops several times during normal cycle

Maytag Dishwasher (bought around 2010). Model: MDBH969AWS1 When I set it for a normal cycle it fills with water and starts the cleaning cycle normally. Then about 10 - 15 minutes later, all the lights go out and none of the buttons respond on the control panel. After sitting between 2-5 minutes, the lights come back on and the start button is flashing like the door was opened. We just hit the start button and it continues the cycle from where it stopped. This occurs 3-4 times each cycle and almost the same spots in the cycle every single time. I have already replaced the thermal fuse, heating element and the thermostat (under the washtub) and still have the same behavior. Previous to this issue when we would run the tough scrub cycle (with additional heating), every 3-4 months the thermal fuse would get blown. I would replace it and then it would go back to normal. My father in law has experience with electrical appliances and decent with running electrical wiring. Should I just replace the control panel? Could it be a bad connection with the wiring harness? He could get his voltmeter Any suggestions would be most welcome and any other resources that might help to nail down the issue without spending another 100 bucks on a technician who didn't solve the problem the first time, lol.
