I have a Samsung Front Load Washer that has developed a leak in the vicinity of the drain pump. I have been able to remove the upper and front door panels and the a number of rust stains are evident. I need help in isolating possible source for the leak.

I have done some troubleshooting and determined that there is no leak occurring during the beginning of the fill cycle (wash). At the end of the wash cycle and after the tub has drained, the tub begins to spin. There is some pump noise (normal) and this is when the leak occurs. It is a slow drip and continues for a short time until the pump noise stops. However, I do not see leaks during the time the tub is being drained. Similarly, the same behavior occurs in the rinse cycle--no leaking when the tub is drained, but after as the tub begins to spin. I observing this during a Quick Wash cycle which lasts about 30 minutes from start to finish. I'm not sure what pump functions are occurring at these different parts of the cycle. I'll add that I have examined all the hoses and connections and they do not appear to have any damage or cuts. Edited by user Friday, November 5, 2021 10:12:55 AM(UTC)
