About a year ago we started having to hold the start button down a little longer to get the dryer started. Recently as long as 4-5 before it would start and everything worked fine. Came down the other day and it would not start. No error codes and it clicked when I pushed the button but would not start even after nearly 10 seconds of holding it.
I took the dryer apart to check everything I could. I checked continuity on everything I could think of. Both Thermal fuse and other thermal next to it was good, door was good when closed, broken belt switch was good when held up, Belt is fairly new, 2-3 years. I pulled the control panel out and everything looks good on it with no burns or anything loose or broken that I can see. I pulled out user interface panel and cleaned it up well and looked it over and saw also no burn marks or anything broken or out of place.
I vacuumed everything I could see and put it all back together and still power comes on, everything lights up as it should, front nob changes everything as it should, but pushing the start button will not start the machine.
I am at a loss of what to do next. Please help...
Thank you, Joseph J
