We have a 2014 LG WM3050C front load washer that had to have the front half of the outer tub replaced because one of the mounting posts for the lower counterweight broke off. I presume the WM3050 “C” is an obsolete model, because I can only find parts listed for a “CW”. Anyway, when I ordered the front tub half from LG the one I received had the oval hole in the bottom of the tub for the heating element with the integrated thermistor ( part AE633121501), where the old tub half simply had the thermistor ( part AP4445199) by itself that was mounted in the lower right front of the tub. The problem I have now is the plug for the old thermistor doesn’t fit the plug for the thermistor in the heating element. The old thermistor plug has two wires, a blue and a white; is it possible to get the wiring harness for a 3050CW and take the plug for the thermistor from that and splice it into the blue and white wires in my machine? And if so what is the correct harness to order to get the plug?
