Was thanked: 4 time(s) in 4 post(s)
i have the frigidare ffss2614qeo fridge the water flow has been getting slower and slower over the last year or so. i have a filter bypass init so i do not believe it is the filter. i took off the line and i have good flow there so the only thing i can think of is the valves. i was thinking of taking the valves apart to see if they are either rusted up or maybe a slug in there someplace restricting the flow. so outside of something in the filter mechanism that could be causing this is it practical to take the valve apart to see if it needs cleaning? and if that is a option what valve would i take apart being i have 3 of them on the set. the ice maker still makes ice but the cubes are getting hollow also so the water is slow enough to not fill the cube slots before the valve switches off. if you think that the ice make sounds like a restricted water line then i guess i will take off the line and make sure it is clear. but like i said i can get good flow. but if you need gallons per minute for a good fix let me know and i will get the gallons per minute on the line at the valve. thanks bp.

say how do you get registered? the site says i have an email but will not send a forgot password to me to change it. thanks
