I have a GE front loader that is probably about 10 years old. The model number is WCVH6800J2WW. I am having problems with the start button not working correctly because it will sometimes cause the other settings to change. Sometimes, I set the washer, hit start and it works perfectly. Other times, I hit the start button and it will change the setting to another cycle (sometimes the clean cycle, sometimes just a different temp or spin setting). Eventually, if I go through the process enough times, it will finally start without changing the settings, but sometimes I have to try 3-4 times before that happpens. There is no pattern to when this seems to be happening so I assume the electronics in that area are shorting out or just slowly dying. Any ideas what might need to be fixed to correct this problem? Thanks for your help!
