I'm new here so I apologize if this has been asked before.

I'm trying to figure out why our WDT970SAHZO washing menchie doesn't wash. It fills up with water, it drains. but the washing wand in the middle of the sump or what ever its call never moves and water never circulates in the machine. I pulled the water line off the bottom and verified the hose and shut off valve isn't the problem, there plenty of flow. I check the screen on the water inlet on the washer it was clean.

To the best of my knowledge, the water inlet solenoid is working. Buy holding the door latch closed with a screw driver . I watched the machine fill up with water and can hear the water inlet solenoid click on and when it full hear it click off. I also tested the float sensor buy pulling it up as it was filling and it shuts the water off. If i hold it down it will keep filling. I can also hear it click on and off.

But after that the washer just sets there and after like 5 minutes it will drain its self and fill up again. One time I thought I heard a motor try to move but it didn't sound right. I'm assuming that was the circulation pump trying to come on. I'm assuming its jammed or locked up. Guess the best coarse of action, before throwing parts or bullets at it, I should pull the pump off and see if its jammed or locked . Any other suggestions or testing procedures would be appreciated, Thanks.
