This morning I started a load of clothes and the machine started filling. There was air in the water lines due to a main pipe breaking and being repaired by the water company. You could hear the noise from the air in the lines as the washer was filling. I left the washroom and when I returned the washing machine had stopped before it ever completed filling. The timer stopped as well. I checked the power and it is fine coming out of the wall. I pulled the hoses from the rear of the machine and bled the air out of the lines. I reconnected the hoses but the machine will not do anything in any of the timer positions. What do I start checking?

Thanks in advance!

I have ordered a water temperature / water level sensor...

I found a video that helped me get through testing the sensor switch.

When the timer is pulled out (turned on) in the regular wash position, the timer is sending 120 volts to the sensor. The sensor is only sending 1 volt to the cold water solinoid in the cold position. It is not sending anything to the hot water solinoid in the hot position. If I understand this right, the sensor should be sending 120 volts to the appropriate solinoid. So if the inlet water valve will not let the water fill up the washer, would that stop the rest of the operations? The timer even stopped...
