After 20yrs of use on a Maytag Neptune washer we decided to go with a new Maytag $900 machine. to my surprise, this thing shakes itself silly on spin cycle with any kind of a load. I can't imagine this thing making it 5 yrs without shaking itself apart. I notice our new machine weighs a lot less than the Neptune and has a lot bigger capacity drum so I would assume that's part of the problem. I've been looking at vibration dampers for the feet but it seems to me the cabinet still is going to shake. any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. I would have expected this from a $450 machine but wasn't ready for how this one carries on. and of course we bought a matching $900 drier as well. I feel like I should have put a little more money in the Neptune and fixed it although parts are hard to come by now. I would have thought Maytag would have heavy enough shock absorbers by now to take care of the vibration. Thanks for listening...
